Comprehensive Orthodontic & Orofunctional Assessment

Our assessment combines orthodontics with a biologically informed evaluation of orofunctional patterns, helping to optimise alignment, function, and overall oral health. This consultation is designed to give you a clear understanding of your smile journey and personalised recommendations for treatment.

  • Appointment Duration: 60 minutes

  • Cost: £200

  • Located just 5 minutes from the M62, with parking provided. From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice we do dentistry differently. Our calm, spa-like environment—with soothing music, essential oils, filtered water, wellness library, and bespoke interiors—is designed to help you feel relaxed and confident before your assessment.

    • Comprehensive evaluation of orthodontic alignment

    • Myofunctional patterns (muscle function of lips, tongue, and face)

    • Orofunctional function (breathing, chewing, and swallowing)

  • If wanting a cranial pattern analysis and use of the homeoblock appliance Dr Chris currently doesn’t offer this, this will be with Dr Seb. Photos will be analysed and the cranial strain identified, we can then plan the gentle unwinding of the torsion pattern.

    • Capture precise digital impressions/scans of the teeth and jaw

    • Take necessary radiographs to assess bone structure and alignment

  • A video report summarises:

    • Findings from the assessment and scans

    • Recommended treatment options

    • Estimated timeframes for each treatment

    • Costs and financial considerations

  • If required, a referral is arranged to a convenient clinic for a lateral cephalometric X-ray

    Note: X-ray cost is paid directly to the referred clinic

    • Deliver a clear, personalised plan for your smile journey

    • Include next steps, treatment timelines, and follow-up appointments
